Conference Site : Royale Bintang Kuala Lumpur Hotel
We are pleased to announce that the Cultural Centre University of Malaya in collaboration with the National Department for Culture and Arts, Ministry of Information, Communication and Culture ; MyDance Alliance ; and the World Dance Alliance Asia Pacific will convene and organise the Asia Pacific International Dance Conference 2011 (APIDC 2011) from 21st-25th September 2011. The proposed theme for the said conference is Hybridity in Dance : Researching, Performing, and Writing Old and New Genres. This conference will be part of the MyDance Festival (MDF 2011).
The conference theme is dedicated to three selected topics which will form the focus of presentations and discussions.
The topics for the APIDC 2011 are :
1. Researching Hybridity in Dance
2. Performing Hybridity
3. Writing Old and New Hybrid Genres
